Ever since the kids were little I always referred to the school as a germ incubator. My poor daughter threw up for more than twelve hours yesterday, needless to say she was miserable.  So why was I so surprised this morning when my coffee came back?  My son was sick too, at least by this time my daughter was in a cozy sleep coma.  We were lucky, my son and I only threw up once.  My daughter emerged from her slumber all bright eyed and bushy tailed.  I said that to her and she says “what are you talking about mom? I don’t even have a tail.”  Then she suggests that I take a bath, it made her feel better, yesterday she took twelve. I passed on the bath idea, but I did sleep soundly until about 4:30.  It wasn’t until after I showered that I began to feel human again. So in the school germs vs my family, the record so far is school =1 and my family=0.  Time to start taking some vitamins to prepare for the next battle.

One of the many reasons we chose to homeschool. 😉 Glad y’all are on the mend!

  2. Thank you and me too! I’m not a big fan of being sick, but who is? Germs are a very good point in the homeschool debate.
