Tonight is the hottest so far it’s usually a little cooler in the house by now, as I am typing I have a frozen hand towel around my neck. Ahhhh that really helps!
You know how I feel about fast food, well with this heat it’s just too bad! Tuesday it was Subway, Wednesday it was Wendy’s, and tonight it was Taco Bell. My son and I were at the craft store so we ate in, but Boo Radley aka my hermit daughter stayed home. I can’t eat in this house when it is this hot, it doesn’t seem to bother her at all.
I had to go to Hobby Lobby because it is the only local place that I can find shea butter for my homemade deodorant. In this heat I can’t run out and I never make it there on Saturdays and this week S.B. and I are learning how to knit. Anyway…..I found my medium for the family history project, which changes what I was going to do originally.
This artwork was on clearance for $4.00, it even has the hangers attached on the back. I haven’t picked my theme yet but I was sort of thinking about using gratitude since this will be the debut year of the Thanksgiving cards. This is actually harder than it sounds. I have been trying to find images to incorporate the whole holiday season and I still have to take pictures of the kids and dogs. I’m not a big pilgrim fan…if you really did the research what’s so great about the Puritans and their big hat buckles anyway?
I have lots to think about, I will figure it out…I always do.
Another thing happened last week…..I actually found a television show that totally sucked me in from the word go. Hollywood Game Night. There are very few shows out there that hold my attention so I am pretty excited that I found at least one thing to watch this summer! It’s on now…..so I have to go…Zia
