This weekend just flew by, and it wasn’t even that fun…..what’s that about? I need more time…..I always need more time.
Do you remember when I said that I was finally going to face my money back on May 3rd? That lasted until May 12th….pathetic I know. This time it’s different. I have a loan account attached to my checking account so I shouldn’t ever bounce a check. Don’t worry I didn’t do that…thank goodness, but I did however go into that account slightly. I went to the bank Saturday morning and paid it off, some patterns aren’t worth repeating.
I have lived on way less than I do now, although I wasn’t charging like I have been. I have been very good at rebuilding my credit…yikes! I hope that this time I will do better.
I always rise from the ashes, but I am really tired of getting burnt.
This time it would be my own fault. I am an emotional spender without a doubt. Since I gained the weight from quitting smoking, I might as well wear what makes me feel least frumpy. Since the kids were exposed (not really) to the Cockroach it eased my guilt to overbuy that first set of birthdays and Christmas. It was a steady incline of debt that I now have to figure out how to dig myself out of. I know that I can but boy oh boy when will I stop making things so much harder than they actually are?
I was offered my old job at Pier 1 back yesterday, I would much rather waitress but I may have to take what I can get. A lot of the sights that I have been reading this weekend are saying to do things that I have already started doing, I started couponing again (minus the processed food parts) and I have been putting stuff on Ebay for the last month. I guess it just takes me longer than the average person.
I didn’t finish painting the trim this weekend but I did get a boatload accomplished. It ended with the kids and I cleaning off the front porch and setting up the table that PT gave me with the new chairs that I got a great deal on a Target. It looks so much better and not at all like the hot mess that it was.
The boy just made the first copy of the Girl’s Night Out 2014 CD, I have learned over the years to start out with one and make sure that all the songs play okay. The one year I think it was Silvertide Blue Jeans that was a bad copy on every cd….that was embarrassing!
Here is the line up of a cd without a theme…..I do much better with a theme so I hope everybody likes it.
1. Shatter Me- Lindsey Sterling featuring Lzzy Hale
2. Dark Horse- Katy Perry
3. Brick By Boring Brick- Paramore
4. Heaven Knows- The Pretty Reckless
5. Dancer and the Moon- Blackmore’s Night (against the girls wishes)
6. My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark- Fallout Boy
7. Radioactive- Imagine Dragons
8. Love Bites- Halestorm
9. So What- Pink
10. All Around Me- Flyleaf
11. Carpe Diem- Green Day ( the girl’s choice not mine)
12. Thrift Shop-Macklemore
13. Blurred lines -Robin Thicke (the girl insisted for PT)
15. Yeah- Usher (the boy and girl voted for this one…..whose CD is this anyway?)
16. Before He Cheats- Carrie Underwood ( something about a Louisville Slugger and both headlights just makes me smile)
17. Ohio- Bowling For Soup
18. Let it Go- Demi Lovato (because the winter took forever to end this year)
If there is room because of Green Day……she makes the same argument about Blackmore’s Night….neither of us budged.
19. She’s so Mean- Matchbox 20
The girl was a big influence of the 2014 CD, she can be so bossy sometimes, I bet my brothers are somewhere laughing their butts off……..Zia
