Up….When I Should be Down

Today I had my first of three pop ups at my local coffee shop. I didn’t sell as many pumpkins as I would have liked but it was definitely worth my time. This is what my basement table looked like last night…

I even brought some of last years stuff and I’m glad I did because I sold a mermaid jar and a tissue mason jar too. These pumpkins go back out on November 24th and then they are retired forever.  I have three to give as house warming presents but the rest will be for sale at the next pop up.

The girl and I did the running around that we absolutely “had” to do and that was it. We got home right before the wind went all “Dorothy” and the rain started. It’s still pretty windy out there. Typical cold front although I am not ready for the possibility of snow.

I have everything I need for my Outlander make it and take it party tomorrow….food included. Unfortunately I did not make it to Goodwill or The Salvation Army today to costume shop and I have a Halloween event next Saturday. My Outlander party starts at one and Goodwill doesn’t open until noon on Sunday so tomorrow is out too. Looks like I will be scrambling after work this week….wish me luck!  Fingers also crossed that the lantern comes out okay tomorrow since it’s crucial to my costume.

The girl and I both laid down for a nap around seven….I set my alarm for twenty minutes. Two hours and twenty minutes later and I woke up. That is the opposite of what I needed to do! It’s Saturday so it’s okay that it’s midnight and I have miles to go but tomorrow morning isn’t going to be any fun. Hopefully I will be able to drag my butt out of bed and make it to PT’s for breakfast. It’s not looking good right now though….I’m up when I should be down….Zia
