Insert Werewolves of Optical to this tune….
It has been quite the week! Not as exciting as Monday’s police action drama but you could tell it was a full moon week. Tuesday we even had a werewolf…well not really but that’s all I could think as he was checking his mother in. Those eyebrows…that hair….if he doesn’t dress up as a werewolf for Halloween then he is just wasting a great costume. This is a very blurred picture that I tried to take for the girl….
Did I mention the eyebrows? Plus he was talking to his mother in Slovak which he doesn’t normally do. It was strange….just like everything else this week.
Later that night I had an oil class hosted by the girl who signed me up. She really wanted to host it and I did learn some new things but I knew my people weren’t interested in signing up. We had a good time and I was excited to finally meet her. I didn’t make it home until 8:30 or when book 48 was announced on the finale of The Great American Read. I voted every single day for Outlander and it finished in second place. That is a huge accomplishment in my book!!
On Wednesday I took BC (the girl who signed me up with doterra) to my favorite coffee place and we timed that just right. The owner was happy to make the newbie from out of state her first cup of his coffee. We hung out there for a while and hit a couple of other places before I took her back to her sister in law’s house. I went back over later that night after I went thrifting for more layers for my Outlander druid costume. It was almost eight when I took the girl over to meet the dogs and the humans from out of town. Another late night…although I did snap this picture of a cotton candy sunset…
I woke up this morning to the sound of an owl outside. Normally this is the highlight of my day but it followed some pretty intense dreams. I don’t remember all of them but there was a nest of snakes in a corner of a porch and I said “it’s okay they won’t hurt you. it’s just a sign of Kundalini awakening” I was trying to close up the windows of the girls room from the outside to keep out the spiders but couldn’t get them closed all the way. Then I was in an old Italian couples basement…I think I was trying to give them something and there was a row of wind chimes that made the most beautiful sound. Upon closer inspection I could see that they were made of upcycled car parts. Then I couldn’t find my car and when I did some thugs were dismantling it. I tried to use my powers (tv powers for lack of a better word) but they weren’t working. Then I had to go back home (not a place I recognized) and some tall millionaire was in the bathroom waiting for me because he wanted to talk about the Kundalini snakes. I rolled my eyes and said “only if I absolutely have to” Very strange and I had another headache today. I swear I have had one every day this week and some of last week. Then there is all of the dreaming and the business of life. I swear I could sleep for a week if given the chance.
Tonight was Italian class and he struggled to keep our attention tonight. I know there was more that he wanted to cover but ran out of time. It was a lot for me tonight on top of everything else this week. Masculine and feminine words…plural variations…tonight we added adjectives. It was a little overwhelming and I really need to study more.
I like the group of ladies that sit at my table every week. I think we all finally have each others names down pat. One of our group wasn’t there last week so I copied my notes for her. She was so surprised. I would hope that someone would do the same for me? It was a big week last week with the masculine and feminine introduction as well as the singular and plural. The teacher went over it again but still…it was important stuff. I didn’t do anything special…aren’t we supposed to look out for each other? Another from our group wasn’t there tonight but she knew it ahead of time and I told her I would take notes for her. One more time that I write it is greater chance that I might remember it…in theory.
The Iphone calender is not my strongest suit and I have am instead of pm but you get the idea. If I don’t set a reminder….I will never remember that Midnight Texas is back tomorrow. I liked it last year so here’s to hoping I like season 2. I have a hair appointment tomorrow at 6 then to PT’s for a shrimp boil….I don’t eat seafood of drink sangria but I will still stop by…home by 8 hopefully to watch Midnight Texas and finish up my costume. I need to be back to PT’s by noon on Saturday for our Halloween journey up North for the day. Whew! I need to hit the hay asap….Zia
