Last night I had some “out there” dreams….I’m sure you’re shocked! In the first part there was a girl dangling from a cliff. I was able to look down at her and instead of fear in her eyes she was smiling. Behind her up in the sky was a pair of wings made out of clouds.
The next scene has a male angel flying at warp speed in a downward pattern. I think he was flying to her. All of a sudden he was gone and she was soaring with her wings and she was still wearing her smile.
The next part of the dream I am in an apartment that I don’t recognize and I live there. The man who organizes the Italian classes is sitting in a chair. He is there to collect the rent. I say to him “you can have the check but it is written to the new landlord” He seems to be fine with that and then he looks around my apartment and says “there is no God here.” I respond with “there is God here, just not your God.” I remember thinking to myself that I was not going to get into a theological debate with this man.
He leaves and the new landlord is there and he is looking at the dishwasher. He then walks me to my car which was way out in a field, I think it may have been on my grandma’s farm. We pass a TV and there was a man on it that I said was nice to look at. We get to the large parking lot in the field and I leave. That was all I can remember right now.
So when I get to Italian class tonight, I wasn’t too surprised to see the old man collecting the money from the people who didn’t make it last week. I was surprised to see that there were two nuns in the class tonight. I walked into the room and saw them and said to the Universe “now you are just messing with me!” They were very disruptive in class. I told the woman across the table from me “if we were behaving like this in their class we would get a ruler across the knuckles.” They left shortly after that, they didn’t even stay for the whole class. Nuns on top of that dream…extra weird.
I had another food reaction Tuesday. We had a rep bring lunch from a local Greek chain on Monday. I had a salad with lamb on Monday and had no problems. On Tuesday the lamb was a different color so I passed on it so I looked at the chicken. I even said out loud “what do you think is in the spices on this chicken?” By the end of the day the skin under my eyes was itching pretty good. I honestly thought it was because the skin was still sensitive because I cried so much on Sunday over Mon Cher’s passing. Then I woke up on Wednesday and the puffy bags were there. It wasn’t as bad as it was with the cavatelli but it was noticeable.
My doctor’s appointment isn’t until March 20th….I can’t wait that long. Well I can…. but not sitting idly by and doing nothing. I got one of the doctors to order an ANA blood test, that’s a starting point. If that comes back negative there are a couple of food allergy tests that I will look into. I want to go into that appointment with an idea of what’s wrong or an elimination of some of the possibilities….Zia
