Far From Perfect

I did it….I chopped my hair. In this picture you can’t tell that it’s an inverted bob because of my black scrubs but trust me…it’s there.

I like the cut but I am missing the doTERRA shampoo and conditioner. I will find something I like eventually… I stand by my choice of using my points on Yarrow Pom instead of the shampoo and conditioner. I can tell a huge difference in my skin and it hasn’t even been a week yet!

I finally had half a second to get through to the IRS this morning. There is nothing I can do about not receiving what I needed to receive to electronically file my taxes. I just have to wait for a new one. It’s harder for me because of the hack and I appreciate the extra security. I don’t “depend” on the tax return since the 2014 hack like I used to do. I will get it when I am supposed to receive it.

I do need to invest in another economical laptop. The Girl can’t do her school work when she is at her dad’s and she gets super cranky and hoards the computer when she is trying to get her work done before she has to go. Let’s be honest here..she doesn’t “have” to go but whatever…her school is more important than anything I need the computer for…right? I think I paid $350.00 for this little laptop seven years ago…and it has surpassed all of my expectations. I need another deal like that one!

I had lunch (which was difficult) with my brother today. I think that if I bring my own bottled water and salad dressing…I should be okay next time. What is with all the restaurants using soy oil? Don’t they know it’s bad? I can’t have it for sure! I have been avoiding lunch for this very reason. Hopefully next time it will be better.

On my way back from the farm where I buy our meat I stopped at the eagle’s nest. Talk about being at the right place at the right time….

Neither picture is crisp or sharp and while that is a tiny bit disappointing…the fact that I captured this shot with my little amateur eyes makes up for everything else!!! Luck….such a lucky shot!! I am so proud of my less than perfect pictures of these amazing birds.

While I was waiting for an adult to come back to the nest I played a little in the landscape…

My theory is…the more I play..the better I will get. I do need to take the date stamp off…it’s not my thing and I don’t know why I put it on there.

When I came home, I had a surprise in the mail. A card from KW never gets old…

I love my friends….Zia

PS. While I was rereading one last time before posting a little bird was vying for my attention outside my window. It made me remember one of the dreams I had this morning. There was a tiny bird with a red crown in the house up on the ceiling. I had to open the door while holding the cat and blocking the dog so it could get out. It was a very strange thing to dream about and I almost forgot until that little bird with the red crown was just outside my window…

About dragonflyzia

I am just a woman finally accepting that I was never meant to be in the box. I don't fit into any stereotypes, please don't try and label me, that doesn't work either. I am embracing my uniqueness in ways that are new and challenging to me, so that I may continue to grow and never stop learning.
