Still not sleeping….this morning I woke up at 3am. There was a brief dream about a download? Other than that it was a struggle. This is my last weekend working the side gig. It has been both interesting and cathartic… The drive really isn’t that horrible, just that one bridge. The other workers have been great! I am not sorry that I did this. Tonight the artist asked me about next year? I don’t know where I will be in 6 months let alone next year??? I’m flattered that she wants me to come back though….
The Girl and I just came back from Big K’s. Her brother is in town with his wife who signed me up with Doterra. They have a new puppy which is why the Girl came along. We weren’t there that long but I was there long enough to smell the new oils. I really do believe in the product….I’m just not a sales person.
Now that I am home, I can wash a load of lights. The sweet girl who gives me a break at the ren faire also made me a pair of fluffy faire pants. If there is a term for them…I am not aware? They are pretty big and it’s going to be warm tomorrow…. She made them so I will wear them. Because of their puffiness I will need to wear your average tank top. I’m glad I took the time to try things on tonight. Hopefully it will keep my morning efficient tomorrow. It will be warmer on Sunday and since someone will be there to break everything down…I think I will be bring a pair of shorts and a tank top to change into since it will be warm. I just have to remember to stuff them in my backpack since I always have that with me.
It was an interesting day at work….Force of Nature Girl shoved a thick envelope under the drawer and was then surprised when the drawer didn’t open. She tried to pry it with a screwdriver and when that didn’t work she took a hammer to it. I had to keep walking away. That was a hot mess but in the end it was taken care of with limited damage. We all just have to pretend that the dents aren’t there. This was one of those days where I kept saying…”I just can’t”
Fingers crossed that this weekend goes well. It has been a great experience and I’m glad I did it….Zia
