Can’t Quite Capture It….

My I-phone SE doesn’t take the best pictures but I still tried to capture the sunset tonight. It’s not quite as cotton candy pink in this picture as it was in real life but you get the idea. The forecast was snow on the drive home …… I will take a pretty sunset over driving in snow any day of the week.

Last night the Girl and I watched Pretty and Pink because I wanted to see Annie Potts’ character with new eyes. Some of the quirkiness applies but it is not what I have in my head for the aunt of this character. I was actually surprised at how many of Molly Ringwald’s qualities I found in my character. Pretty in Pink is not my favorite, I always preferred Sixteen Candles or The Breakfast Club so I really was surprised. Plus Jon Cryer and James Spader were like 12 in this movie…such baby faces. I forgot that James Spader always played such a jerk!  William Shatner made him likeable on Boston Legal so I tend to forget that I didn’t like him very much, until I watch one of these old movies.

I did a little research and watched a movie but the aunt remains nameless. It’s right on the tip of my tongue….I just can’t say it yet. It will come to me eventually…..Zia
