Look at Me Go….

I may not have left the house since rubber stamp club Friday night but I got a ton of things accomplished. I can finally check “vision board” off of my list. It’s only been there since December 31st of last year. I hung it right over top of last year’s board.

I think I need to start now…scoping out magazines for next year. I really struggled to find the last few elements to finish this off. I had too many Better Homes and Garden, etc. and those don’t cut it for this kind of project. Maybe if I start checking the library cart now, I will have a better selection for the 2021 vision board? I didn’t finish it until late this morning.

I took a shower and then decided to tackle the living room curtains. I think I like the paisley ones….what do you think? This was the dark gray….This is the paisley….

I raised one of the curtain rods and left the big window alone. It does look brighter in there. Of course the sun was still up when I took the paisley picture, it was night when I took the gray one.  The Girl is in a panic and hopes it will be dark enough not to interrupt her television viewing. Personally I don’t care….I need the natural light. I’ve never sewn a rod pocket into anything before so I am excited at how well these turned out. Big K gave them to me so they cost nothing to try and I changed up the look of the room for free.

Once I finished the curtains, I watched the last episode of Grace and Frankie, and then I started on food prep. Everything is washed, dried, and put away. The old gray curtains are washed, dried and folded. The Christmas bows are put away and the canning jars are organized and now stored upside down.

I washed baseboards but didn’t get to the floors…I will get those done on Wednesday, unless there is a miracle and the Girl does it tomorrow???? Maybe? Stranger things have happened……Zia
